Artist History Mortality was formed in 1993 in Colorado Springs. Since then they have moved to San Antonio. When they formed their intention was to establish themselves as one of the best Death Metal Bands in the area. By individual talent, drive and perseverance this young band has accomplished much more. Many of their professional and personal goals have been acheived rather quickly. Among them are opening for numerous national acts, and the recording, distributing, and marketing of their recorded material and merchandiseMortality is a new sound for what is now a typical Death Metal Scene combining Blistering Shred, Overwhelming Grooves and Brutal Drumming. This coupled with their skull-crushing live show has gotten them a huge and always growing fan baseMortality is a band that has done shows with MORBID ANGEL, DEICIDE, CANNIBAL CORPSE, INTERNAL BLEEDING, MALEVOLENT CREATION, GORGUTS, CRYPTOPSY, INCANTATION, NILE, MORTICIAN, KATAKLYSM, ANCIENT AND SEVERAL OTHER NATIONAL ACTS.
