Artist History
G O D L E S S was the first musical project I was involved in after moving to Phoenix. The band existed before I got involved and had a strong local following. The previous guitarist was more of a noise artist, but after his departure Lucious became more interested in riff driven grind. When Lucious and I began working together there was a click between us (musically, you sick fvck) that made the process of reworking the songs a lot of fun, as well as inspiring. In April of 1997 G O D L E S S was nominated for "Best Industrial Act" by the Phoenix New Times (the local entertainment guide), along side N17 and Nihil (see "Links"). In May we recorded the EP “Rituals”, and made a short run of discs that I have no idea what happened to. Very shortly after this session Brane moved off to Seattle to be with his lady, and Icnuba quit to go back to collage. Lucious and I tried for a while to find replacements and carry on. Unfortunately, finding suitable replacements didn’t work out very well and we decided to go our own ways. G O D L E S S was something I really enjoyed doing and always felt it could have been something, which is why I have made our work available here… for all to hear! Each song from the Rituals EP is available here for free download and, if you really like it, purchase in D.A.M. CD format. Thanks for the support! It was a lot of fun!!! ~ Azlin (a.k.a.
