Artist History Curbside Service formed in February of 97' in Huntsville, AL a place, and state for that matter, not known for its indie music. At the time all members were under the age of 16, but they accomplished quite a bit drawing crowds of over 200 people, and appearing on multiple compilations in the U.S. and Canada. As the years went by, a few member changes were made until the band became happy with its present state. Along with these member changes came changes in their music as well. When they first formed in 97' they were primarily a ska-punk band, but as they got older their music developed a harder and more melodic edge. As fate would have it the band eventually had to say goodbye to two long time members, who happened to make up two thirds of the horn section. With their departure the band decided they had outgrown their old style, so they began the transition to a more melodic and rock-based band. They added a moog into the mix of two guitars, bass, drums, sax and 3 different singers to create what CSS is today.
