The members of CRUCIAL have united to spread a positive message to their regional supporters, and strive to spread this message to the entire world. These uplifting messages are apparent in songs such as ?Live and Learn? and ?Time A Go Come?, which deal with issues such as learning from our mistakes and the need to stop violence in our society. With psychedelic lead guitar grooves, jamming horns, powerful drums and slamming dancehall, Crucial appeals to traditional reggae fans as well as music lovers of all types. Jesse Fuller (lead vocals) ? Jesse writes most of Crucial?s lyrics and captures audiences with his powerful stage presence. He works at Root Photography in Chula Vista, CA and Thruster?s Lounge in Pacific Beach, CA. Jesse aims to spread his messages and energy to the world. In his free time Jesse loves to play soccer and bodysurf.Greg McCarty (bass, backing vocals) ? Greg has written the majority of Crucial?s musical compositions. He earned a degree in world history from San Diego State University and currently works as a manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in La Mesa, CA. Greg enjoys bodysurfing and soccer in his free time.Marc Ziccardi (drums) ? Marc hails from New Jersey, where he played drums in many bands over the years. He currently works as an Advertising Executive at the Bernard-Hodes Group in La Jolla, CA. Marc enjoys surfing, biking and snowboarding in his free time.Brian Fleck (keyboards, backing vocals) ? Brian joined Crucial in May of 2000 and made an immediate impact. He works as a music instructor and is a student at Grossmont College in La Mesa, CA. Currently, Brian shares musical composition responsibilities with Greg McCarty.Jason Robinson (saxophone) ? Jason hails from northern California where he helped establish the roots reggae band Groundation. He is currently working on his musical Ph.D. at the University of California San Diego. He joined the band in July of 2000, and his tight melodies have made a tremendous impact. Jason has toured extensively with Eek-A-Mouse and Wise Monkey Orchestra.Chris Christakos (rhythm & lead guitar) ? Chris joined Crucial in January, 2001. He works as a waiter at The Top O? The Cove restaurant in La Jolla, CA. Chris enjoys surfing and skateboarding in his free time.Jordan Litro (percussion, backing & dancehall vocals) ? Jordan plays percussion, sings backup and occasionally takes the lead with his ?rough and rugged? dancehall style vocals. He is a graduate of Duke University and currently works for the public relations company of Stoorza Communications in downtown San Diego, CA. Jordan enjoys backpacking and is a lifetime skateboarder, surfer and snowboarder. |
