Artist History Upshot is New York City's premier rock and hip-hop act. Fusing folk, rock and funk styles with jazz and hip-hop, the songwriting of frontman Danny Steinman aka UPSHOT has been garnering attention on th NYC scene for years. UPSHOT and his longtime collaborator Josh Barshak aka the Corduroy KillAH front a tight band of seasoned young professionals consisting of Charlie Burns and Mackie Snee on saxophone/flute, Riadh Quadir on lead guitar, Glenn Natjkowski on bass and Brendan Wyant on drums. Upshot's material has received substantial airplay in it's many incarnations on college and commercial radio.
