Artist History SLOW formed in Sept. of 1999 with asperations to become an industrial metal outfit. Guitarist Adam Cullen and keyboardist Ashleigh Barkdoll began writing music in August of '99. They asked Justin Hartgrave, a high school friend to sing. Justin is the former lead singer for RustProof. They added drummer Josh Newcomb soon after. Finding a bassist has always been difficult. Bassist Seth Thorpe was added in November of '99. Things didn't work out with Seth and Gary Speth was added on bass in April of '01. SLOW now has parted ways with keyboardist, Ashleigh Barkdoll. Allowing for new doors to be opened and new elements to be added. From the first practice they realized that they would bring a new sound to everyone with elements of industrial, hip-hop, hardcore, and goth metal. In a year and a half, SLOW has developed as a band and has written and recorded a seven song demo and is currently in the studio working on their first full length. If you are looking for intensity, you have come to the right place.
