Artist History In 1997 Mark Derubeis ( Lead Guitar) and Eric Vello (Drums) began jamming in Eric's basement. There aspirations began to grow and they pushed a friend Phil Coletti, to play bass. The musicthey played began to transform from mixed beatsand riffs to well developed songs. The trio werenow in search for more members to join. Kenny Briand was soon asked to try out for the band and they found their vocalist. The four played as much as they could to build themselvesa solid ground. They were able to do so.The band was then in search for a rhythmguitarist. After many try outs Mike Casavantseemed to be the right one for the job.Prevalence was formed and the band hasaccomplished a lot at a young age.They have performed shows at popularplaces such as the Middle East Club andhave established a name for themselves inthe local scence.
