Artist History
IRENCROS is an Italian power progressive symphonic metal band formed by Gianfranco Attardo (guitar), Johnny Bozzari (bass), Davide Lima (drum) in Palermo (Sicily) in 1998.
The Line-up changed various times through the years and only on january 2000 the definitive one was born with Francesco Ilona (keyboards), Simone Campione (guitar) and Giulio Di Gregorio (vocals). With this line-up IRENCROS played a lot of live performance having great success. They are among the most important metal bands in Sicily nowadays.
In november 2000 they recorded their first mini-cd "through the mirror" selling more and more copy (over 600 copy) all over their own country. This thanks to the internet promotion and really good reviews in lots of magazines, fanzine and web-zine.
Irencros think that "Through the mirror" cannot show the real quality of their music because it has recorded in only three days with an eight channel digital mixer. In consequence of this a lot of symphonical parts were excluded. Moreover, Greek and Japanese wholsellers got in touch with the band for "Through the mirror" demo-cd distribution.
On June 2002 Irencros recorded their second demo-cd "Alchemy of destruction" consisting of five new songs and three old songs. |
