Artist description
Coby Carlucci is one of the best and brightest new songwriting talents to emerge from the busy New Hampshire seacoast music scene in recent years. Performing a genre dubbed-Old-School Americana Rock, Coby and his Band, Tractor Trailer blend proficient chops with creative and competent arrangements. The musical influences are wide and diverse extending from twang artists Neil Young and Gram Parsons to urban funksters The Meters to blues/soul geniuses Albert King and Al Greene. The sound is of a stripped down rhythm and blues variety: tambourine-shaking, Telecaster played through a vintage tube amp, rocket in the pocket rhythm section, and blue-eyed soul vocals. His sound is a unique one that has rightly generated a buzz in the seacoast and beyond. |
