Artist description
Severed Edges is a Gothic Doom Metal band. Their sound is best described as Orchestrated Symphonic Metal. A very progressive type of metal with lots of harmonies and melodies in soundtrack type arrangements, which puts them in a category of their own. A Symphony of Metal with solemn riffs and atmospheric acoustic pieces that puts the listener into a sort of hypnotic trance. With their guitar driven Wall of Extreme Distortion, they are sure to please any metal fan. Unlike most of the new metal bands using a growling vocal style, Severed Edges uses clean midieval baritone style singing. This sets them apart from the rest and helps distinguish their style even further. |
