Press Reviews
"Nila is one of the more energetic bands I've heard in some time. Although I had only 4 trax available to download, I must say that I heard alot of really cool elements in their music. These guys bring some of the old school Rock styles together with a new Heavy Alternative form ... without the same old worn out radio-pop-alternative sound that seems to dominate the genre. These guys claim to be an Alternative band, but they are R-O-C-K, pure and simple.
I felt alot of power in Nila's progressions and really got into what the whole band was doing. I found it hard to focus on just one facet of this band's music. They work well together as a group, but if I had to point out any outstanding performances it'd have to be the vocals. The singer sounds extremely emotionally involved in what's happening with the rhythm and the harmony.
Whether you like it hard, moody or intelligent these guys bring it all. They have a classy style and a smart approach that will change the face of the Alternative Rock genre and raise the bar to all who follow!"

"I've listened to this demo 50 times so far. It's sort of muddy and raw with a big fat fuckin hook in the chorus. In vein of Deftones, The Cure, P.O.D. Girl bass player."

"Emotional driven hard rock with emo/punk undertones. Not unlike a cross between Finch, Glassjaw and [minus]. Band is young, talented, & passionate and showcases maturity that belies their youth. Strong live show."
The Kings of A & R. December 19, 2002.
