Artist History The Concept of DJ Brutality began in late 2000 because dance music as a whole was becoming too boring and tame. Mixing together some badass kicks and loops and then interlocking different genres together (Drum n’ Bass, Classical, Trance, Hardcore Techno, Speedcore etc) DJ Brutality began to create a new, interesting and hard-hitting style of dance. The thing that separates DJ Brutality from other dance artists is he isn’t influenced by dance music but instead by Death Metal bands such as his idol the Berzerker, Cannibal Corpse and the mighty Carcass. This is why the music has a Raw, Experimental, Fast, and Heavy sound. As DJ Brutality matures as a musician the music is becoming more complex, darker and new sounds are being mixed together in unlikely ways. In May of 2001 DJ Brutality signed a record deal with Rightside Records (http://rightsiderecords.cjb.net) and is due to release his debut album “Nightfall” in the next few months.
