Artist History First, I feel an emotion. Second, I play each instrument separately as an expression of that emotion while at the same time recording the sounds on the computer. Third, I write lyrics to the melodies and record that in time with the music. Next, I mix the music and package it into one nicely compressed mp3 file. Then, you download that file and listen to it. At first, you feel no emotion, judging whether or not it meets your standards. After repeated listening though, you associate the music with an event or a time in your life. This event evokes an emotional response. Finally, the event is no longer needed to trigger the desired emotion, only the music. Thank you.
