Artist History One day when Pawan and Brian were really bored. After listening to Anal Cunt they were like, "anybody can make a band like that." And Anal Mullet was born. They began their onslaught with the recording 311 Blows, a cover of Anal Cunt's 311 sucks.Soon the street team initiative was launched. The city of Boston was plastered with Anal Mullet stickers and the official Anal Mullet website was created. The hype had peaked and began to decline for the next few months. Many months later, Pawan was over Brian's house and we were bored again. The spirit of Anal Mullet would once again live! Anal Mullet embarked on the second recording session, which would revitalize Anal Mullet and grindcore during which Mayhem in the Mist, Take Off Every Zig and Excuse Me Could You Pass the Liver? were recorded. The songs written were no ordinary songs; these were some heavy grindcore songs.Anal Mullet decided to share their vision with the world. Songs were posted on Napster, Mp3.com and began to hit the airwaves. Pawan's friend at WJUL in Lowell decided to play the radio-friendly Mayhem in the Mist. Simultaneously, Anal Mullet was avalanched by a sudden influx of listeners on Mp3.com. This influx steadily carried Anal Mullet up the charts. On Mp3.com, Anal Mullet soon reached the #2 spot for grindcore, #2 spot for all metal bands in Massachusetts and #150 for all metal in the world. There are rumors that Anal Mullet will be featured on a compilation and is planning on recording for a full length this summer, so stay tuned for more info.
