Artist History
Johnny "Coldcock" Jones and "Lightnin' Deuce" Rooster were both born in the south and migrated to Peoria, IL in 1958 where they met and played the blues together. Times got rough in the 70's when they resorted to playing "disco" blues in local clubs to support their vices... Coldcock chose drugs and Lightnin' Deuce chose whiskey. By the late nineties the two had been in either jail, prison and/or detox a combined 74 times.
Then, in 2000 they got back together despite their past brawls to play together again for the people of Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky and of course... Memphis, Tennesee. |
