Artist History 1983-present.The Nightporters, a post punk highly energetic mod ensemble based out of Atlanta,Ga.During the mid 1980's which during their hayday shared stages with likes of such bands as The Clash, REM,The Replacements, Cheetah Chrome, Jason and the Scorchers, Goo Goo Dolls, Jim Carroll, Raybeats, Rupaul,The English Beat and Pylon to name a few. After the 45 rpm single (Mona Lisa) and E.P. (Outside, Looking In) both on Safety Net Records, things eventually imploded.Now seen in highly anticipated reunions every two or three years dependent on each members patience level.
