Artist History The group formed 3 years ago after a recording session with the group Blood Sistahs. "We felt an instant bond with each other when we first met," states Pippi. "I picked up on Pippi's vibe when she began to flow some fast shit which took me by surprise", says Tae " I knew she was the missing link to the formula." They call their music Gripp-Grunge, which is alternative hip-hop. " You have rock, you have hip-hop, there is alternative rock and now there is gripp-grunge, alternative hip- hop," explains Tonibi. Naum means having the ability to detach yourself from negative emotions in order to get through certain situations. Not giving a damn about what others say or think.

Group Members Tae (vocals): Witty and vivacious. Lady Black Heart kept her classmates engaged in relentless entertainment. "I am a calm, but wild individual. I know when to play; I know when to be serious. So when I'm on the stage I am playing , seriously," laughs Tae. " I like to act a fool and have fun." Tae can bring into view different characters with her down South cornbread gravel, then stick you with her poison dart, which is her aggressive, sexy way of having you feel her vibes.Pippi (Vocals, Guitar): The young and precociousPippi. She is the real thing and will never cease to amaze you. She met Tae & Tonibi in 1994 where she was invited to participate in a recording session for Blood Sistahs. Even though she was there to play guitar, she knocked everyone out with her flow. Her rap flow is peerless. She brings that west Coast "poke you in your eye" style to the group. She too can manifest many characters in her style.Tonibi (Bass, Guitar, Keyboard, Programming, Vocals): Tonibi she lived at a recording studio in Arlington, Texas. There she learned by hands on experience of arranging, programming and recording dance, house and Hip Hop tracks. This was by being "the studio cat" as she calls it. Seeing, feeling and applying all the energy and knowledge from each person I came in contact with. She and Tae started Blood Sistahs this is where she developed her style for precision. Tonibi, she's masterful and sagacious. The Mad Producer. She exhibits the ability to create a sound, and turn it into a hypnotic groove on every track.
