Artist History Limitbreak21 was formed in April of 2000. Stas and Rob had previously been working together with an other bassist and drummer, and Chip was working with a rock band in College Park MD. Stas and Rob were having a bit of trouble getting the other guys to commit to practice times, and decided to diversify their efforts by starting a new band, in hopes that after summer vacation they would be able to regroup with their old members, and pick up where they had left off. Chip was having fun in his other band playing lead guitar, but found that he wasn't challenging himself nearly enough. The music his band at that time played simply didn't have room for him to push himself except during a few "4 measure long" guitar solos. Chip was actually filling in on bass one day so that Stas and Rob could practice more easily, when the three decided to work together. Stas and Chip had played in several bands together since they met in high school, as well as worked separately at music in the times between. Since then, they have been playing out, and are currently working on a cd.
