She has additionally been chosen by Southern Star Records as their Artist of the Year, 2000 for the recent release of her first song Have I Got a Deal For You, which has played at the top of the charts in the United Kingdom and Western Europe.Recently, on her first international tour, Jessica, singing with Eddie Choate and the Texas Nightlife Band, played to enthusiastic audiences throughout England. The release of Have I Got a Deal For You, which coincided with Jessica's UK tour, was featured in articles in England's Southern Country Magazine and Scotland/Ireland's CMD Magazine. This blockbuster single has remained in the Top 20 on the European Media Service Charts for several weeks (consistently ranking within the Top 1 to 3 percentile of the World-Wide Mainstream Artists' Playlist Charts). While in the UK, Jessica discussed both these successes and her upcoming tour in an interview with David Allen on Ritz Radio 103.5. Throughout her career, Jessica's openings for major headliners, and independent performances, at the Texas Songwriter's Association and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo have been unqualified successes. She has regularly appeared at Opry Showcases in Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin, and her performances at Fort Worth’s Johnny High Review and Nashville’s Mickey Gilley's Music Row were two of her career's early highlights. Jessica was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in Houston, Texas. Even as a child, it was evident that Jessica’s heart and soul were pure Country. By the age of five, she was performing favorites over Houston's airwaves, appearing on both radio and television programs featuring local artists.
