Artist description The band "Finding Home" is really a worship team based in Lakeview, Oregon. The songs (for the most part) were born out of personal worship times with God, and were selected based on what was felt to be right to share from those times. Doing the "band thing", playing out, trying to get signed - that all changed in 1995 with exposure to a real calling - worship music. Giving up on the band scene and going into full time worship leading captured our true heart for the Lord in music. The team consists of a youth pastor (and father to four kids - so inspiration comes in all forms); a guitar teacher (and father of 2 kids. He is an accomplished musician who can play anything and play it well. He and the youth pastor first met in Philadelphia where they were in a band called "Get Serious". He is working on releasing a solo project that will most likely be called "Three Times Denied" but you know how band names change); an awesome mom (and great singer who helped us do "Intercessor's Song". She is actually a part of a different church where she helps with worship. We stole her for this project but we gave her back!); a drummer who plays with us on Sundays (we really wanted to get him on the album - he just flat out makes us smile and we don't know what we would do without him!); a long time worship team member (she works with kids and is our CE at our church - a great mom and friend). As we say on the CD cover - PLEASE BOOTLEG THIS ALBUM!!!! Any unauthorized copying, lending, public performance and broadcasting of this recording is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
