Press Reviews
Starlite, Starbrite
-------------------
Uptempo Latin-tinged bebop at its finest - Chuck shows his fantastic timing and tasty fretless bass playing all through. Also features PAJC (Prime Artists Jazz Club) alumnus guitarist extraordinaire Bobby Brewer with a wicked extended solo - can you have funk with bebop? - yeah man!

Reminded me of alot of some great Crusaders tunes - Stix and Pops would dig this one, big time, because of its huge in-the-pocket groove!! Also featured on this cut is saxman Brian Gorrell on soprano, a player I've gotten to know and listen to at mp3.com - he kicks some serious attitude here.

Very nice smooth jazz meets fusion, way cool chord changes on this one. Again Chuck pulls it together with some funky-ass bass playing throughout. Very enjoyable to listen to.
All in all, Chuck is one serious bass player and has pulled together some great talent for these tunes - every tune a keeper!! Reveiws by MP3 Artist, Bob Johnson..........

GREAT energy on this tune It was a Real pleasure to listen to this ONE-derful Music Many Thank-U's & WELCOME* Review by MP3 Artist, Morris Code..........
chuck's another old friend and fellow jazzer. "starlite" was origanally a smooth jazz tune, we rearranged a little for our trio. we encountered some rough studio conditions ( not much cue, faulty plugins) but, we did it down "live" and it came out great!! a testament to chuck and tad's playing.
chuck's a talented bassist and writer in many genre's, and it's a pleasure to be involved in his music! Kind words from MP3 Artist, Bobby Brewer
