Press Reviews "I really liked Falls of Io for 2 reasons. Firstly, its extremely well produced, structured, arranged and executed. Secondly, it sounds like a tune from an old game I used to play years ago called Turrican. Turrican contained some of the best computer music of all time. Made by Chris Huelsbeck, the soundtrack was one of the most popular ever written for a game. It was melodic, epic, progressive, and emotional. And Falls of Io, I'm glad to say, has all these traits and more. Its very, very well produced. The synths are all really nice and fat, the kicks and hi-hats are all crisp and clean. There are lots of crescendos and breakdowns to keep a dancefloor happy too, with a hard-edged disco-house beat. The melodies are piercing and driving, progressing throughout the track in intensity. For once I don?t mind that it?s an overused synth sound - it works really well and has a genuine euphoric feeling to it. Overall, it?s a great track. Fans of melodic and Euro-trance shouldn?t miss out on Falls of Io. Neither should fans of old-skool computer music. I'm off to dig out my Amiga.
