Artist description “…Noisy psychedelic art-rock to listen to while traveling through space (or at least make you feel like you are)…”kappa is a three piece experimental improv group consisting of LA-based members Randy Okamura and Joe Villegas on guitar, organ and electronics, and SF-based Josh Churchill on bass, tapes, TV, radio and electronics. Their music takes elements of noise, found sound, free jazz, and rock to create ever-evolving montages of fleeting melodies, lost voices, screeches, and thumps. An inspired lo-tech soundtrack to a dreary hi-tech world.
