Artist description Team Ocean is the English-speaking project of theone of the most prominent modern Russian alternativerock bands Nebo Zdes’(Heaven’s Here). In fact Team Ocean came up into existence much earlier than NZ, in the early 90-s. Team Ocean is a derivative of the family name of the band’s front man Igor Timoshin (Tim Ocean). Tim has always perceived English lyrics as more natural and authentic than the Russian ones in the format the band is developing. But the Russian national market is conquered by the prejudices against the English-speaking musical projects. These circumstances were accepted as a creative challenge and this is the way Team Ocean started a Russian speaking project, Nebo Zdes’(Heaven's here)

Artist History Today Team Ocean has got a big deal of practical experience and more than 30 songs in English. The majority of those songs were started 10 yearsago and have passed through a serious internal and external quality control. Up till now all this material is not bound by any commercial obligations but as a consequence it is not properly recorded and can be presented only in a demo format.

But these words were put together exactly for the purpose of creating a precedent of the real live modern culture in Russia.This idea was beginning to take shape on the threshold of a new century when Moscow alternative band TEAM OCEAN already being regarded by the key players of Moscow subculture as a discovery of 1999 all of a sudden changed its name."WHY- HEA-VEN- HERE?!" the audience was chanting at the presentation of the new label. Even close friends were puzzled. But the ecstatic message of sound, light and movement drove away all doubts: the HEAVEN is HERE. Probably because we are sick and tired of seeking " the truth out there". Let the future be born here and now.
