Artist description
Synthetic are a dark-electronic music project based in the UK. Their sound fuses elements of darkwave, rock, EBM, and industrial.
In the course of 2002 Synthetic performed at several top-level events such as Elektrofest (with And One), WGW (with Paradise Lost) and Infest (with Mesh and Funker Vogt). Synthetic are currently recording their 3rd album CONTROL for release in April 2003.
Synthetic will be playing several high profile live shows this year, including a headline gig at The Garage in London, as well performances at Edinburgh Goth Weekend, Carnival of Souls (with Attrition), and Whitby Gothic Weekend (with Red Lorry Yellow Lorry). They are currently arranging a number of East European live shows for later in the year. |

Artist History
Synthetic are a three member dark-electronic band based in the UK. Their sound fuses elements of darkwave, cybergoth, EBM, and industrial. Timothy Mathias and Sarn V formed Synthetic in May 1998 and made their live debut in October the same year. Paul Five (from Serotonin Sunset) joined Synthetic in March 1999, adding overdriven guitarwork to the band's mix of vocals & electronics. |
