Artist description
A band trying to create an hybrid between the classic rap style and the black feel and rythm and the white breed, including in the hip hop pulse a lot of guitars, effects, and techno drum n'bass rhytms. This is where I think hip hop and music in as a whole is headed: a huge crosspollination of influences, tastes, instruments and styles. The new generation of hip hop and hard music is growing up listening to a lot of different music and this will start to show in the future when music starts to be played. Jeronimo Punx is actually also playing in a punk music project, which also mixes it up with ska, reggae, some hardcore, etc., following the same philosophy as Skorpion tha Predator. |

Artist History
Started mainly as a side project of a nu metal band who didn't have space for the more hip hop based influences. It took a life of its own and survived the crash of this other band (www.mp3.com/lenguamadre) because part of that band didn't want to mix it up with the new influences and styles. |

Press Reviews
Jeronimo Punx participated this year remixing the song "Public Enemy Number One" for the new Public Enemy CD "Revolverlution", getting mixed reviews for his techno metal fusion... the purist obviously didn't like it at all, but some other sources that also deal in some techno dance and electronica dfound it interesting. I can recommend to search in the Internet this different websites for reviews:
