Artist description This is the site for the music from the soon to be released motion picture ,"Sea".You will find a variety of styles of music from Electronic to Latin to Jazz, all created solely for use in the film.

Artist History The band consists of Julia Beattie (vocals, keys, guitar, flute, percussion, bass, programming...) and Mike Southworth (vocals, drums, guitar, keys, programming, bass, trumpet, percussion...). All the music featured on this site was created solely for use in the soon to be released motion picture, "Sea" written and directed by Andrew Williamson. For this movie Mike and Julia have created lush soundscapes that score to the beautiful dreamscapes in the film as well as diverse styles of "source" music for scenes where songs are required. The two composers wrote, performed, recorded, produced, and mixed all songs for this movie.

Press Reviews Synopsis For The Movie 'SEA'"Sea" is the story of a man called David who begins to have a series of strong, sharp dreams involving someone he has never met. They remain with him long after waking. Over time, the dreams change, appearing to lead him. They involve a woman he does not know.David lives comfortably and happily with his long term girlfriend, Sarah. They are making the transition from students to professionals, settling into each other in the process and talking of the future. It is that age.One night at a party David is introduced to a woman that he is shocked to recognize as the woman who has inhabited his dreams for months. Her name is Kay. Meeting her causes him to question everything he has known. Their ensuing friendship succeeds in eroding the careful base he has built himself. As things intensify with Kay, his life with Sarah produces its own changes and surprises. Soon David is drawn into a classic dilemma. The dreams continue, calling to him in a language he struggles to understand. They appear to taunt him with the knowledge that he already knows which way to go. Are they prophecies or fantasies? Escapes or excuses? Or are they, possibly, memories of his future?
