Artist History We are a couple of guys writing songs and music which are more filmscore oriented pieces. We’ve been working together for about 2 years now from Nick’s home studio in Kent, uk, where everything from the initial idea to the finished master is produced. Nick, the producer, has played and sung in various bands around the south coast for about 10 years, ranging from Indie rock to electronic and acoustic styles. Jim, the lead guitarist and Jazz oriented half of the project, used to play keys for a dynamic funky outfit, before concentrating his talents on the “Phonic Orange” project. This incredibly evoking project incorperates a range of influences into the electronic area of music, but still makes use of live, played instruments such as acoustic guitar ,bass and pianos. We sometimes pull in other artists we know for certain tracks, depending obviously on the piece. These can range from backing vocals to maybe sax or flute, but usually all the music is written and played by us.
