    Artist description
Tom and Gay Galvin comprise a husband and wife duo which merges Tom's pop, folk and rock background and Gay's jazz foundation on a truly original set of songs. Tom's acoustic guitar and Gay's keyboards are backed by blues guitarist Pat Lewandowski and by guitarist Bob Lohr. Both Tom & Gay provide original, witty and often humorous vocals on all original tunes, from the road rage song "Move that Piece of Junk" to the gritty "Blue Collar Town" and the jazzy "Mr. Bert". Life's and love's many sides are featured on their cd "That Way With Lovers". Where else can you find a song about a dead rocker and one about a dog on the same cd?

    Press Reviews
from Feb. 15-21 "Toledo City Paper" "Best duet: Husband-and-wife team Tom and Gay Galvin present tracks from their new CD, "That Way with Lovers" at a release party ....Gay has been a staple of the Toledo music scene with her trio, which plays at many local venues, and Tom has been involved with Toledo bands like Locoweed. Tom has a Lou Reed vocal quality and shares singing duties with Gay, who plays piano lines that shift from swinging jazz to somber ballads. With lyrics like "You were the king of rock 'n' roll its said. You keep on rocking and you won't stay dead", this show is not to be missed."
