Press Reviews
"A promising effort that runs a blurred line between a fiery oldschool hardcore punk onslaught, and sharp melodic, harmonic predilections. Ample doses of shout-along, sing-along tendencies throughout, a weighted infusion of hooks to complement the vitriol, and a feedback charged drive fuels the breakneck pace with which the songs here unfold through the album's duration. Depictions of morose social isolation, hurt, and loneliness, coupled with a contrasting fair dose of humor in tackling issues such as the public drunkenness that often mars shows, the scene "singles" scene, white trash friends, and comb-overs insure engaging lyrical shifts. A great release from an up-and-coming group exhibiting a faceted sound and style that should appeal to a wide audience across the punk/hardcore gamut." -Mike Ramek, Under The Volcano Magazine
"A Thousand Times No are emerging as a hot band, with a fast, catchy sound. Solid songwriting and presence. After a string of throttling hardcore, here's a slightly more melodic change of pace. 1000xNo deserve more notice than they've gotten. Surging and tuneful, mixing west coast punk and older hardcore and emo into a stirring combination." -Al Quint, Suburban Voice Magazine
