Artist description
Sing/songwriter.Rock/country.Swedish rockartists have an astonishing ability to imitate american originals. In a world of copies, Richard Lindgren is one of the originals. In a world of fake artists, Richard Lindgren is a storyteller with true stories to tell, and with a language that makes us believe in them. He has a firm and natural grip of tradition, a tradition which Bob Dylan and Townes Van Zandt were part of forming, and which among artists like Steve earle, Guy Clark and Son Volt has taken personal and unexpected directions. |
