Artist description
The original Lesl & Mike duo from college days. Guitars and vocals. The music you see here was a home-grown affair, before that sort of thing was being regularly done. Mike took the music we played in the college coffeehouses and local folk venues, and with a borrowed mixer and a lot of ingenuity, put it onto tape, mistakes and all. But wow it was fun! |

Artist History
Long ago and far away Mike sat cross-legged atop a piano on the last day of daylight savings time. That was the beginning. Now, hundreds of years later, the music is finally released, and a long way it is from the ladies' room at Island records... ha! |

Group Members
Mike Metz and Lesl Harker. Before the time of these recordings, Mike had already been an established player on the local folk scene, having been in at least 2 previous folk groups, notably the trio "Fern, Mike & Les". (That "Les" was a boy.) Mike and Lesl were introduced and the duo was born. |
