Artist description
Highfall is a volatile mixture of sinuous guitars, saturated energy, and unabated emotion.
Highfall has been described anywhere from a post-punk collage of violent rock to the tormented child of Jawbreaker. Pulling from an enormous range of influences, Highfall has a style that is often unpredictable and always captivating. The band prides itself on a complex level of songwriting, intense vocal quality, fevered performances, and a high level of musicianship. The songs are a juxtaposition of strong, melodic vocals over raw, ragged guitars.
The stylistic variety and heartfelt approach of the band fits them well on almost any show bill. Their dedication to the arts of music and performance translates to a relentless will to travel, flyer, promote, and play as hard as possible to spread their music as far as it can reach.

Artist History
May 1999 - A few friends decided to get together and play songs in the garage for fun.
Over the next few years, the level of writing and musicianship increased to the point where the founding members felt they could make a real impact with this music.
After years of playing for fun, 2003 finds the band in the period of transition from a few friends with some instruments into a band finally making its push to have their music heard by as many people as possible. |
