Artist History
Daniel Indart, from his very formative years exhibited the musical ability that later on would help him earn a B.A., Magna Cum Laude in film scoring from Boston’s world renown Berklee College of Music. Previous to this accomplishment, his family’s theatrical endeavors and his own career demands offered him the opportunity to reside in Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela and Spain, expanding in this process his already extraordinarily well developed sense of musical aptitude. In 1977, RCA International signed this young promising artist to its stable. Two songs from his first album with the group “O Universal” became number one hits on the Venezuelan charts: “Sing With Me” and “Melodía”, also obtaining great success in neighboring Colombia and Argentina. Daniel’s songs have been published as well by Spain’s Odeon and Ego Musical, also by Venezuela’s Unimúsica. His international effort has been recognized as a finalist by The American Song Festival USA; OTI, Caracas; Festival Internacional de Mallorca, Spain; First Prize Winner in the Décimo Festival de la Canción Moderna, Caracas; First and Third Prize Winner in the Festival Musical Fonus XXI, Caracas.During the past eleven years, Daniel Indart, as President of Indart Music and Sound Productions, has distinguished himself in the world of music scoring by producing award-winning pieces through his own studios and music production company for Fortune 500 entities such as AT&T, Coors Brewing Co., Procter & Gamble, Disney, Bank of America, McDonald’s, Toyota and many others. In 1997, Daniel created Latin Music Specialists, a music production and library division of Indart Music & Sound Productions specializing in authentic Latin music geared toward films and television programs calling for Latin music. The LMS division has been a great a success since its inception, with its music appearing in television series and movies such as A&E Biography, “Folks”, “Trust Me”, “Dance With Me”, “Three To Tango” (Warner Bros.), “The Bachelor” (New Line Cinema), “Mambo Cafe” (Kursher-Locke). LMS music will also be appearing in the soon to be released feature films “Held Up” (Trimark Pictures), and Showtime’s “God’s Favorite (Noriega)”, among others. As a songwriter, Daniel Indart claims authorship to over 300 songs and commercials, both for radio as well as television. And as a singer, Daniel has recorded the lead voice in musical spots for Carl’s Jr., McDonald’s, Miller Lite, and countless more. His voice has also been recorded as background accompaniment for Plácido Domingo, Ana Gabriel, Gloria Trevi, “We Are The World” by Quincy Jones, Humberto Gatica, Pimpinela, etc.As an artist in his own right, Daniel Indart, once more, stakes his claim with this latest batch of new compositions loaded with lots of “salsa picante”, all new arrangements and lyrics that seduce the listener to dance his hot, tropical brand of romantic Caribbean sound...Daniel Indart relaunches his artistic career with brand-new titles such as “Tu Piel Desnuda”, “Bella”, “Será La Forma En Que Me Miras”, “En La Palma De Tu Mano”, “Me Duele Decirlo”, “Ví La Luz” and “Si Tú No Estás”. All outstanding pieces written and interpreted with the enthusiastic gusto and songster delivery of the best salsa interpreters, but with plenty of inspirationally-ladden lyrics that are a pleasure to listen to and a delight to “cut the rug” with. This latest mosaic of dancing music offers the listener a classy and romantic alternative to today’s blunt and crude salsa lyrics...The music arrangements were prepared by the well known talent of Jesús Alejandro Pérez aka “El Nino”. All in all, an assemblage of outstanding talent, songs, lyrics and Caribbean rhythms that makes this latest compilation of danceable music the best in its genre. |

Press Reviews
The Indart quality of energy burnt into this new release, goes far beyond that of his fevered and zestful previous productions. No one can control feet or upper limbs while listening to this juicy new collection of Caribbean ‘broilers.’ The African heritage in Latin Music has never been infused so well before as in this very hot CD."
