Artist History
Silence The Individual, formed in the summer of 2000 in Manchester, New Hampshire, an area with a small, yet deeply rooted hardcore/metal scene. STI is working to make their mark on New England, with an uncompromising brand of music that will bring the likes of Madball, Fury Of Five, and Biohazard to the minds of listeners!
In their short existence, STI has had the opportunity of working with some of the best and brightest New England has to offer: Screaming Ferret Wreckords (i.e. Comadose, Red Right Hand), 100 Demons, NOK, Crown Vict, Gun In Mouth, and Drop Kick Jesus, just to name a few.
Lineup changes have been the norm since the band's inception, but in the end, Silence The Individual, always pulls through stronger and more dedicated. Through the tough times, STI has managed to land on 2 compilation CD's, record a 6 song EP and put forth their finest work to date, a full length album entitled "No Rest Until Retribution". This effort was recorded in August and September of 2001 at Mikro Studios in Milford, NH.
With the additions of Tim on bass and Chris behind the kit, the band feels secure for the first time. Now that they have all the pieces in all the right places, STI is looking forward to getting out and playing to the passionate masses around New England. |
