Artist description
So what is Little Bones? Straight-up guitar rock that messes with your head!Erin's vocals slide from a mocking Grace Slick mood to PJ Harvey's anxious presence, but only for seconds in between her own sly style. Employing a feminine falsetto or a threatening growl, she leads the band's music around by the balls! G contributes with a jammed-out guitar resonance that revels in it's cutting, subtle-as-a-trainwreck feel. Nevertheless, Little Bones hails to their blues roots now and again by sombering bass and steadying the rhythm. With a couple of crawling blues ballads, they demonstrate just how tight the act gets before escalating to a moody clamor.Drummer Ryan emerges from beneath entangled riffing with fresh tempos-breaking songs into bite-sized beats. All three follow a distinct path until, at points here and there, everything intersects and a shared undercurrent materializes from three seemingly independent sounds. This is the part where you hold on tight to whatever's around for your own good! Little Bones' songs are full of rhythms that slip and catch like a noose, saw-edged melodies, and hard driving guitar and bass. Erin knows when to add a toying lilt to the vocals and Ryanworks across his drums with the inventive precision of a watchmaker. G (unafraid) utilizes crafty, tweaky guitar manner, which meshes violently with Erin's bass. The result is anthemic and low to the ground, a promising picture of rock to come! If this sounds like something that could inspire your flagging faith in music (and if you have a pulse), then give Little Bones a listen. Mp3’s are available online at www.littlebones.com!Bassist/vocalist Erin anchors you to the floor with her playing while her singing spirals in the air. Ryan keeps the scene solid with his tight rhythms, and guitarist G drives the sound forward by way of ear-jangling, headtrip tweaking. Mellowed down or maxed out, Little Bones will resurrect your belief in rock. |

Artist History
Tie down the barstools, bolster the walls and get ready to be hit by Little Bones! This groove-stung Texas trio is here to raise the dead with their sophomore CD- DIG!Sporting a sound that's smoky, skillful, and intense, the band out of DallasWill be shaking up the stage at an establishment near you!For the uninitiated out there, here's the history in a nutshell… Bassist and lead singer Erin Reynolds started the band back in 1996 with the guitarist enigmatically known as 'G'. With Erin's punk roots and G's raucous guitar riffs, the foundation was laid for the sound that was to follow. Ryan Young was added to the mix a few years later and the synchronicity was set. Original and responsive, Ryan contributes a reliable rhythm plus some mindbending beats that lend to the tunes' distinction. So, that is the history of Little Bones.
