Press Reviews
FORT WORTH STAR TELEGRAM - Star Time (Jan 20-26, 1995) The obvious comparison to Lint is Green Day, but this FortWorth/Benbrook-based group has more guts and charisma that those SoCal wusses. Throughout Progeny, it's first full-length, the quartet bends the punk rock rules a bit, laying a tad of vocal crispness across its caustic three-chord tales of hot lookin' chics and daydreams. The results reverberate Down By Law and the Nixons (huh?), though such echoes are merely nods, not rips...By MALCOLM MAYHEW |
