Artist description
I play solo nylon-string guitar -- no vocals. My style is not easily categorized. Often I get billed as a classical guitarist, but my music is all improvised -- different themes are strung together in a stream-of-consciousness fashion and I never play the exact same thing twice. Right now I am going with improvised classical guitar as I have a fetish for oxymorons. |

Press Reviews
Justin Benigno"wandering"improvised classical guitar huh? i don't know ifi'm up for this al dimeola crap right now. i will, soldier that i am, listen anyway.this piece is really quite wonderful and miraculous, all the more sobecause it is purely, off-the-cuff improvised. the melodies thatstream from his nylon laced 6 string are beautiful. i wouldn't gobar hopping or crashing my car into walls listening to this, but i could certainly listen to this over and over and over againwhile battling one of my migraine headaches, which i am doing at thismoment. perhaps god is rewarding me with a glimpse of this artistas a way of answering my selfish prayer to relive my headache....great stuff justin, and i would be honored to put this into therotation on plainsongs radio.....kurt |
