Artist History
After a childhood spent studying classical guitar, a sweet young Avi headed off to London to be corrupted by the funk scene. From there, he made his way to the US to study at jazz-oriented GIT Los Angeles. The years since then have been spent as a career musician, playing all kinds of music, all over the world. (Ask him sometime about the night in the Iban longhouse in the rainforests of Borneo.) Avi currently resides in Portland, Oregon, where he is the proud poppa of Happy, the Wonder Pugahuahua, who sings and plays piano (check him out at happythedog.com) |
