Artist History
The Gordon Freeman Trio was originally concieved as a jazz influenced piano trio by pianist Hank McLendon. A number of original piano compositions were presented to bassist Pete Brown who, in his struggle to define appropriate accompaniment, helped create a new sound and a new direction that quickly took a left turn into oblivian. Evil Cartoon Music.... After a long struggle to find a drummer, Joe Helfer was added and the trio was complete. This new addition created a foundation for exploration that has led to a long period of sustained growth and creativity. We impose no limitations on the nature of our future direction and are equally versed in music, promotion and various digital arts. We strive to create a rewarding experience for ourselves and our fans in all mediums. |
