Press Reviews
After reviewing music for as long as I have, one starts to gain the ability to size up a band before the music is even heard. That's probably why I expected to hear a carbon copy modern rock band from this CD. I am pleased to say that I was so wrong. This is simply excellent rock. From the lyrics to the vocals to everything in between, this band rocks. Their pop sensible tunes have a lot of hit potential, while they still remain a band that guys can enjoy. Outside The Box is definitely a great name that sums this band up completely. OTB present a tight musical groove that is sure to gain a lot of critical acclaim. There is also a folk rock vibe to this music, which is my guess why the music has such a great lyrical power. OTB is one of those bands that is outside the norm, outside the dull everyday trends, and definitely outside the box.- Michael Allison - THEGLOBALMUSE.COM |
