Artist History
Karen Santiago has been interested in a career in music ever since the age of 13. Often side-tracked with a fascination of biology and psychology, Karen set aside her first love to pursue a career as a psychologist. Knowing that music was still her calling, she finally decided to audition for Music Industry Arts (MIA) at Fanshawe College and got in on her first try. Karen finally had the chance to record some of her songs and one of her songs, "Twin Flame," gave her a nomination for the EMI Publishing Mark Caporal Scholarship Award for Best Songwriter. After graduation Karen hopes to pursue in singing/songwriting, and start her Internet-based business of selling her singles on-line. |
