Artist description J.Russo is a solo artist. He mainly plays guitar and sings, but sometimes also plays trumpet and electronic drums. His past projects include his recording debut, Jackalope Stew, and a brief stint with the band Mind Riot, which resulted in the self-titled CD, Mind Riot. He is currently working on breaking into the music scene with a revolutionary style of music--yet to be heard, but most likely based upon a danceable mix of rock, R&B, funk, jazz, and pop.

Artist History J.Russo's previous band was Mind Riot, based out of Des Moines, Iowa. Together they produced the self-titled album, Mind Riot, which is of the hard rock genre. The album features Darren Larson on drums, Jason Coughennower on rhythm guitar, Pat Webb on lead guitar and bass, and J.Russo on vocals. Wanting to move to San Francisco, J.Russo decided to call it quits with Mind Riot, in search of greener pastures, musical or otherwise.
