Artist description Djinn consists of four individuals who prefer to make music, and not have our music make us. Djinn takes itself very seriously, hoping that the listener will do the same.

Artist History Djinn was formed in 1999 by Daniel Ghent,Matt Kesler,and Jason Avant. First came small shows at small clubs and then came big shows at small clubs. Djinn has slowly progressed into an atraction,breaking the barrier of the bible belt curse. In january of 2001, turntablist and keyboardist Waylon Long joined. Slowly, Djinn is working its way to musical success , hoping that this will not include T.R.L live and heavy rotation on Mtv. We hope to rely on our musical ability and not image to propel us to greater aspects of our musical journey.
