Press Reviews For the past six years, leather communities around the world have played to the music of their own Pied Piper. Going by the name of "Butt Boy," this composer with a masters in voice and composition and a minor in theater has created not only original music, but his own genre. Leather music. "About six years ago," he says, "a friend of mine heard one of my darker songs and said it would make great music to screw to. I told him that was what I wrote it for. He asked me to make him a tape. Later he suggested I sell them. I took a small ad and expected to make a few bucks. I was surprised when the orders came pouring in." With "Instinct," Butt Boy once again takes his music a step further. He calls this album a seduction, saying that what people do on the dance floor is as much a sexual experience as what they do in the dungeon. He also continues to explore his themes of leather as ritual...as religion. "The basic instinct of Man is to be worshipped. Everything we do is driven by the desire to be admired. In sex, we worship the body, someone's masculinity, someone's power or control. Even the submissive who is worshipping wants to be admired for how good a submissive he/she is.
