James Williams the pianist formerly with Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, Art Farmer, Milt Hinton, Milt Jackson, Stanley Turrentine; Ed MacEachen the guitarist formerly with Brother Jack McDuff. Tony Reedus the drummer formerly in the bands of Woody Shaw, Kenny Garrett, and Mulgrew Miller. Bill Mobley formerly in the band of Marvin "Smitty Smith", George Coleman Octet, recorded with James Williams, Donald Brown, Bill Pierce, Bill Easley, Geoff Keezer. Bill has 4 of his own CDs out, including two Big Band records primarily arranged by him. |
