Artist History
AJ grew up in the central corn fields of Illinois playing bass in the power hippie band, Grasshopper. As higher learning called, he migrated to Stevens Point, Wisconsin for college. There he beefed up his songwriting skills playing in various bands, and eventually going solo. The meager Stevens Point music scene caused AJ to move to Minneapolis after graduation. He continued his solo career, as well as hooking up with his big brother Tim, and local songwriting legends, Peter Lawton and Craig Wright (AKA The Tropicals--see LINKS above). Together they formed the indi-pop group, Kangaroo (see LINKS above). |
