Artist History
he Next New Wave : NOW :American Musician releases music for the Persian Market. As the Persian community grows in Los Angeles and the entire United States, its influenceal culture, ideas, arts and traditions are felt everywhere. Visions of TeddyBear is a experimental work written and produced by Larri, an African-American, who has been drawn to Persian culture, especialy Tadigk, music and Philosophies. This work is an unique combination of the lyrical style of 60's counter-culture in the U.S. translated into Persian language mixed on top of Persian influenced music from Improvisational Kamancheh to avante garde tribal singing bowls, interlaced with the experimental sounds of the Summer of Love in the United states (1967). It is indeed a wild ride commenting on L.A. culture, Modern Psychology, Man in Space, The Native American, and simple ̉Stream of Conscienceness expulsions, in often broken Persian, as Larri himself speaks very little Persian. The composition is downloadable in seperate files but is produced as one continuous composition. It will only be available for a limited period of time. When you burn a CD or make a playlist, eliminate all pauses between tracks. Enjoy and relax, OK ? You have never heard anything quite like this before. |
