Artist History
Drummer Dog, and guitarist Chris H started jamming as a two piece band in 1994, and finally put a full band together in Jan 1996. The band was first going to be called Phallus Cooper, then Mr. Enis, and finally the name the Idiot Parade was settled on. Dog ended up asking the bassist for another band he was jamming with to sing for the band. The other guitarist, Mike, went on to form APB, then Chris H and the bassist left. Dog and Danny Mischif (vocals) ended up using the Idiot Parade name and bringing the Idiot Parade songs over to the other band. They played around Norwalk during the summer of 96, then split up. Dog and Dannydecided to find new guitarists, and continued recording new material. By February of 1997, a new lineup was in place, and the band was gigging again. Summer of 1997 saw the bassist from the summer 96 lineup return, and the band put out an 8 song 7", "What's for Dinner?". The band split to pursue other activities in jan. 1998. |
