Artist History SpiritTrap started in 1992 with music made from a broken shortwave radio, a four-track, and a Casio SK-1. The project took its name from the disembodied voices that spoke through those first recordings. Since then, the project has grown to involve other techniques and processes, but still favors "found" sounds and modified or broken instruments. The conspiritors of the SpiritTrap have played in and created a number of other projects, but hope soon to produce their first performance under their original moniker, thus initiating the next step in the project's devolution.
